This month is only January, the beginning of a new year! People should be happy that there is a chance to make this year better than last year, start over! But lately all I have heard is complaining.
People are stressed now more than ever with the thought of a recession in our economy, new year resolutions, jobs, and school. Another major factor in this unhappiness is the receiving of the holiday bills.
I have noticed lately though, that it is not our situations that are getting harder, but that our patience is getting shorter. I know that my generation is called the "now" generation because we want things now, not next week. We have become so accustom to instantaneous gratification that we believe everything should be immediate. With technology advancing at the rate it's going, how do you think our kids are going to be when it comes to patience? We are also becoming more acclimatized to old, set procedures. We do not care about other people's views or opinions, we only care about how this situation will affect our lives.
To me, I see this up on Capitol Hill the most. I know that the legislatures are trying to fix some major issues but when it boils down to how much an individual can do I believe that many are falling short.
Complaining for most people is a way to vent anger and frustration. Seeing the ways of the world pointing towards Armageddon and the end of creation, no wonder people are starting to go crazy. I wish that a creative entrepreneur would create some type of way to release these complaints without wearing on other's ears.
