CVS article

I found a very interesting article on chorionic villus sampling through our library's databases. This information came from the magazine Hospital Doctor, the March 9, 2006 issue. Entitled "Cheap test for Down's babies," this article tries to persuade women who may be at risk for having a baby with Down's to get this procedure done. The cost of similar procedures are about 150 pounds or $300 US dollars. The CVS test is not only cheaper but it is less time consuming and labour intensive. Now the chorionic villus sampling is about $200 and faster results.
